Ayurveda
Ayurveda is a process of rejuvenating your body, along with the mind,
through natural processes or natural sources, without damaging any system in
the process by any side effect and thus recovering from the illness fully.
Perhaps the most ancient healing system, it's believed to be in use in India
5000 years ago.
Ayurveda was in vogue in India in the time when the nooks of wisdom- the
Vedas were written, especially the first of the five, the Rig-Veda deals
mainly with the healing systems. Ayurveda is made up of Sanskrit words, Ayu
(life) and Veda (wisdom) thus meaning the wisdom of life. The name suggests
keeping harmony with the nature, and acting in a similar way to heal the
body through different techniques.
The Vedas divide all the matters of the world into five elements, the
Pancha-bhuta, including space, air, soil, water, and fire. Different
combinations of these elements yield different varieties such as Bhata
Dasha, Pitta Dasha and Kapha Dasha. Yoga, a part of Ayurveda, specially the
spiritual aspect of it, deals in uses of body organs in harmony with the
nature.
Ayurveda is considered by many, a genuine healing process and has been
imparted in healing the body and the mind from almost all diseases. This
ancient Indian art of healing is in much discussion nowadays due to its
extraordinary and amazingly simple techniques of medication.
Ayurveda tells to detoxify, rather than healing, when one is sick and needs
recovery, the term used for detoxification is Panch Karma. The system is
significant for the matter of fact that it takes into account the Soul too
in addition to Body and Senses which, are taken care of in most of other
healing systems.
Kerala as the Ayurvedic destination
Kerala is the centre of Ayurvedic research and development in modern India.
The naturally rich state offers splendid rejuvenation techniques, which has
won the heats and souls of many. Being a naturally abundant landscape, the
climate and weather also add to magnify the results of healing manifolds.

There
are more than 15 popular rejuvenation methods in use in Kerala, the most
popular and the important being Abhayangam, Dhara, Nzavarakhizi, Shirovasti,
Snehapalam and Thalam. But, Kerala can serve as a destination for any kind
of treatment, be it a minor or a major disease. However the most frequently
visited patients come from backgrounds with chronic diseases and lifestyle
ailments. Kerala can act a superb destination for the psychological
diseases, as Ayurveda is considered the best for psychological and mental
diseases.

and around the Trivendrum city. However the popular places in the city
include Sala Karamana, Poovar, Chowra, Pothen kode, Voncheyoor, Kovalam etc.

Cheeruthurthy, Vedanapally and Thrissur City.

Besides, Kozikhode, Pathanamithita, Palakad and Malappuram are also well
known destinations to experience the magic of Ayurveda.
To be frank, Kerala will always be the first preference for the spiritual,
and the Ayurvedic patients, due to its charming ambience, naturally rich
scenery, abundance of flora and fauna and the culturally conservative
communities. The state has been in the best-ranked tourist states and some
of its cities have no equivalent in charm and beauty.
That, perhaps, is one of the reasons that most of the patients who go back
completely recovered act as non paid promoters of Kerala Tourism. And, the
natural effect is always the best effect.
To believe, just make an excuse of any disease. You'll thank me.
