beach, is a major shopping area in Anjuna.
Mascarenhas Mansion : The Mascarenhas mansion is one of

How to Reach
Air : The nearest airport is at Dabolim, 29 kilometers
away from Panaji and 47 kilometers from Anjuna.
Rail :The nearest railway station from the Anjuna beach
is at Karmali, 11 kilometers away from Panaji and 29 kilometers from Anjuna.
Road : The bus service connects Anjuna to Panaji, Goa's
state capital. One can also hire a private cab to reach the beach. Panaji is
connected to other parts of the country by a well maintained road network.
Water : One can also take a ship cruise from Mumbai to
Goa.
Best Time to Visit:
The Anjuna beach can be visited throughout the year. However, for a fun
loving person, the best time would be from early November to January because
of the Christmas and New year bash.
Baga Beach

The
Baga beach is one of the 40 beautiful Goan beaches which shares a 30 km
stretch of beach coastline along the western coast of Goa by the vast
Arabian sea. Located 29 kilometers from Panaji, the state capital of Goa,
the Baga beach is a perfect destination for those who want to rejuvenate
themselves away from the hectic schedule of their day to day life.
Major Attractions
Baga River : The Baga river, which flows down one side of
Baga, is a revered place among the tourists, especially children as there is
hardly any risk involved with the currents here.
Medicinal Springs: The springs at Mottant in Baga is an
ideal picnic and bathing spot. The water of the spring is believed to have
medicinal value and a dip in it cures many skin diseases.
