Bharatpur
is situated in eastern Rajasthan which is about 176 km away from Delhi &
50 km from Agra. It is founded by Maharaja Suraj Mal in 1733 AD. It is also
known as "The Eastern Gateway to Rajasthan".
It is popular for its bird sanctuary, known as Keoladeo Ghana or Bharatpur
National Park which houses a variety of bird species including some

Jawahar Burj and Fateh Burj : These are two important
towers present inside the Lohagarh Fort built by Maharaja Suraj Mal to
signifies his victories over Mughals & British.
Government Museum : It has a colection of carved
sculptures and ancient inscriptions.

cities.

connected with Delhi Airport and is 56 km from Bharatpur.
